What Clients Say...
“What Adrian has done for us is what my mom [Clotee] and I have always done for other people. He understands the challenges of running a small business and how to pivot. [Adrian is] one of those people you can call who “knows a guy.” He’s selfless in how he does things and gives to others. Adrian advocated for Art Delectables the way we do for other businesses.”

Adrian Morales Veliz
Adrian Morales Veliz (also known as A.D.) has dedicated his career to serving disinvested communities in both Northern and Southern California since 1997. His extensive experience in community and economic development includes creating some of Los Angeles' most successful business and workforce programs and pioneering harm reduction and progressive reentry educational policies in California. Over the past seven years, his small business technical assistance efforts have resulted in the creation of over 500 sustainable jobs.
Notable clients include CBRE, Primestor, Los Angeles Council District 15, RCO Tires, The Watts Coffee House, Dulan's Soul food, All Flavor No Grease, Work Evolution Laboratories, Jupiter Holdings, Avison Young, Hoja's Tea House, and the Vermont-Slauson Economic Development Corporation, Crenshaw Coffee, Art Delectables, Brouwerij West, Sole Folks, Trani's Dockside, and Think Watts.
Between 1997 and 2013, Adrian worked at the Los Angeles Youth Opportunity Movement - Watts, where he co-developed the Students for Higher Education Program, which introduced community college courses into the Los Angeles County Camp System, as well as the Green Pathway Program and the Youth in Edutainment Program. During this time, he was also the Associate Producer of Seditious Beats on 92.3 The Beat and Divine Force Radio on KPFK, both hosted by Fidel Rodriguez. Adrian was instrumental in producing some of Los Angeles' largest concerts and conferences, such as Sol Fest, Hip-Hop for Education, On Equal Ground, and Wake Up It Ain't No Game, focusing on edutainment and art as tools for change.
Between 2021 and 2024, Adrian worked at the Vermont-Slauson Economic Development Corporation (VSEDC), where his contributions and dedication to South Los Angeles led to the development of industry-specific programs designed to meet community needs. These programs include Urban Pose (fashion), Food Service University (food & beverage), Digital Accelerator Program (bridging the digital divide), and Beauty and The Biz (fashion). Additionally, his efforts resulted in the expansion of the City of Los Angeles BusinessSource program from one to two sites, and a staff increase from 10 to 30.
Adrian founded World-Bridge LA, a collaborative of life coaches and consultants dedicated to meeting community needs and advocating for entrepreneurs and small businesses striving for economic and social equity. With over 25 years of experience in the City of Los Angeles Community Development and Economic and Workforce Development Departments, combined with strong community ties, Adrian provides his clients with a unique understanding of government processes critical to securing and maintaining contracts with the City of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, State, and Federal entities. He specializes in fostering change and establishing sustainable models for progress within inner cities, legacy communities, and outdated municipal structures.
